Kirsty...More info

Kirsty became part of Blueprint Youth UK in 2012, initially supported as a young person before stepping into the role of Director. Her passion for helping others stems from her own experiences, and she’s driven to support young people in the same way she was supported.

Despite facing barriers including Cerebral Palsy and ADHD, Kirsty achieved a first-class degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, showing her commitment to learning and to challenging expectations.

Kirsty now works in a school setting with students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. She brings deep empathy, professional insight, and lived experience to every part of her work. As a long-standing member of the Blueprint board, Kirsty continues to champion the organisation’s mission and ensure that young people’s voices stay at the heart of what we do.
